What should I do if there is a network error when I try to start the installation?

If you see an error message when you try to start an installation, first make sure Wi-Fi is turned on and the phone or tablet is connected to the network where you plan to install your device.

If you are connected to Wi-Fi and still see the error screen, there might be a network compatibility issue. Make sure the Wi-Fi network is compatible with our security requirements (The FreshAir1 currently supports Open and WPA/WPA2) and wireless communication requirements (The FreshAir1 is compatible with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n @ 2.4GHz).

Many newer routers are dual band and support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. In this case when you are selecting your network there might be two options. For example, if your network is named "MyWiFi," when you look at the list of available networks on your phone or tablet there might be one named "MyWiFi" and a second named "MyWiFi-5G." In this case, "MyWiFi" is the 2.4GHz network option, so be sure to connect to that one before starting the installation.
